About Island Imports

I’ve been a Japanese car enthusiast since my early teens. What started as a love for JDM cars and culture eventually took me behind the camera, filming for That Racing Channel on YouTube and telling the stories of some of the fastest cars and most dedicated builders out there.

Over the years, I’ve traveled across Japan documenting everything from Osaka’s Kanjo racers to the fading drag racing scene tucked away in the mountains of the Kansai region. I’ve spent time behind the wheel on the same roads, from underground meets to the Kanjo loop and stretches of the Wangan. Those experiences helped me build real connections within Japan’s import community and sharpen my eye for quality vehicles.

I’ve been importing cars for about five years now, focusing on clean, well-vetted examples sourced through trusted partners in Japan. While Mazdas have always been at the core of my passion, I’ve also owned and spent time with a wide range of kei cars and JDM off-roaders, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the Japanese market. I treat every import the same way I’d want my own handled, with honesty, attention to detail, and no shortcuts. My goal is simple: deliver solid cars, stay fully transparent throughout the process, and make importing straightforward and stress-free for my customers.
